About Anthony’s Expertise
Anthony is a New Zealand–trained Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialist focus on the hand, wrist, and peripheral nerve system.
Anthony’s path into surgery began with a strong academic foundation — completing an Honours Degree in Physiology in Canada before graduating from the University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (with Distinction). He went on to complete orthopaedic training in New Zealand, developing a deep interest in hand, wrist, and peripheral nerve surgery.
To further specialise, Anthony undertook advanced fellowships at the Royal North Shore Hand and Peripheral Nerve Surgery Unit and the Macquarie University Hand Unit in Sydney. He is also the first New Zealand hand surgeon to receive the RACS Post Fellowship Education & Training Certificate in Hand and Wrist Surgery, reflecting his commitment to surgical excellence and continuous learning.
